Goodbye Kuala Lumpur.

Image
This will be my last post before I head back to the UK. I must say that this has been a great holiday for me in comparison with the last Spring Holiday. To be fair, the Spring Holiday lasts for only a month while Summer Holiday lasts for three months. Now, I’d like to make a few thank you note to all the people whom I had been in touch with throughout the holiday. First of all, thank you to Awie, Ablanc and Hazman for our great bowling games in Midvalley a day after I arrived from London. I really had fun playing with you guys and of course the KFC trip after that using free KFC voucher courtesy of Hazman. We played until our fingers went numb and Awie was the player of the day when he scored ‘turkey’ twice. Then, we had three opportunities to guess which team will win the World Cup. Sadly, we didn’t guess for the right team. If not, we would’ve won a lot of prizes by now. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed my time with you all. Thanks. Next in line would be Affan, Syafiq and Mukhriz. I th

~Selamat Menyambut Ramadhan Al-Mubarak~ “The month of Ramadhan is the one in which the Quran was sent down, a guidance for mankind, clear proofs for the guidance, the criterion; so whoever amongst you witnesses this month, let him fast it.”- Al-Baqarah, verse 185.

Off to Penang!

Image
I am going to Penang tomorrow with my family for one last vacation before I head back to the UK. Instead of feeling happy, I feel a bit sad because this vacation seems like a farewell vacation to me. I know that this is not really a goodbye forever because I will be seeing them again in June next year. Still, it is sad when it comes to leaving your family behind for a very long time. But then again, nine months are not that long if you think about it. I mean, the last nine months went so quickly that I didn’t even realize it was already time for me to go home. Or is it because I came back to Malaysia during the last Spring break made me feel that the last nine months were very short. Either way, I will keep telling myself that nine months aren’t that long. Ha-ha. So, I will go to Penang tomorrow and try to forget the fact that I’m leaving by the end of next week. Sigh On a happier note, this is my chocolate cake. I’m ready to 'buka kedai'! Ha-ha. "It's not that I'm

Chocolate Cake.

I baked two chocolate cakes tonight. I am so happy. I’m going to Penang this weekend for one last holiday before I head back to the UK. Who wants some chocolate cake? You all are welcome to come to my house anytime before I go to London UPDATED: Apparently, I put too much sodium bicarbonate into my chocolate cake. As a result, the cake tastes a bit bitter. “I cannot imagine where would I be today were it not for that handful of friends who have given me a heart full of joy. Let’s face it, friends make life a lot more fun.” – Charles R. Swindoll. Quoted from ethinkexist.com .

Mumbling.

I just realized something and that something isn’t a very good thing. So, what am I going to do now is to take yet another break from blogging. I really need to sort some things out first before I can actually start to blog again. This time, it won’t take more than a few days. Sometimes, you just have to sit down and reflect on your life once in a while before you take another step forward. GOSH, I am not in a very good mood tonight, am I? P.S. A message to a very good friend of mine, thank you very much. I don’t think you know who you are and that serves the purpose of this post-script. “You should always learn, with life comes wisdom and with wisdom comes the courage to live your life selflessly. The more you learn about yourself and the experiences surrounding your life the more opportunities you have to make your life better and more fulfilling.” Amy Candy. New Makeover - Again.

So, how do you like my new blog makeover? I just signed up for the new Blogger Beta and Flickr. Ha-ha. I am so happy. Right now, I am still exploring what Blogger Beta has to offer. So far, so good. I think I will like this new Blogger Beta because the applications in it made my life a whole lot easier. In less than 10 days, I will be leaving Malaysia for UK. And I must say that I am a little bit excited about going back to Wye. Not that I don’t like home, I love my house, It’s just that the thought of going on to second year is kind of exciting. Ha-ha. Although being in second year means more work and pressure, I still like the idea of becoming a second year university student. In two years’ time, with the grace of God, I will graduate with flying colours. Well, that is what everyone is hoping for, right? In the mean time, I will just spend the last ten days in Malaysia doing some last minute shopping and I am going to bake a cake - A nice chocolate cake. I think, that’s all for tonig

Awkward.

You think you know someone too well, then, you realize that you know nothing about them after all. You think that you are very close with someone, then, you realize how distant you are with them. You think you’ve trusted someone so much, then, you realize that you can’t trust them at all. Trust me, you don’t want to be in any of those situations. “A friend is a person with whom I may be sincere. Before him I may think aloud.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson. Quoted from friendship.com.au .

Congratulations Zaza and Musrock!

When I started blogging in this blog eight months ago, I made it a point not to write about my daily life because I just don’t think that anyone would want to read about what I did in the morning, what I ate – you know, mundane stuff. But, I think it is time for a change. This time round, I am going to write about my-not-so-mundane-life. Actually, I just came back from Zaza’s wedding and to tell you the truth, I think the wedding was a blast. It was like attending a super mini version Siti Nurhaliza’s wedding. The wedding was complete with video and slideshow presentation. Zaza also invited a very talented singer – Dira, who sings ‘Aku Cinta Padamu.’ Although not a lot of us came because the some are getting ready to go to the UK or already in the UK, I think we had so much fun there. So, for Zaza and Musrock, I wish you all the best in your married life. May ALLAH bless the both of you always. And since many of you keep asking when is my turn, especially Dayah, I’d just say, “Wait and
