Awan Yang Terpilu and Tak Tahu.


Before I go to bed tonight, I just want to continue with my review on the next two participants in the coming Anugerah Juara Lagu(AJL). Following Taat is Awan Yang Terpilu. Composed by Lin Li Zhen and lyrics written by Loloq. I personally like this song very much. And I think, the fact that Awan Yang Terpilu won Song of the Year Award in the recent Anugerah Industri Muzik(AIM) says very much about the credibility of this song. I am not saying this song will definitely win the Best Song Award because its competitor in AIM is not the same as in AJL. Hence, Awan Yang Terpilu might not be able to win at all. Again, this is just my view and not a certain prediction.
Ning Baizura however, has other things in her mind. She said that she doesn't really mind whether the song will win or not because she is going to concentrate on winning the Best Vocal Award(Please refer this to Utusan Malaysia Online). I don't have doubt that she can win that award but, her rival like Jaclyn Victor, Azharina is cannot be dismissed easily. Ning also said that she just wants tu wear white Baju Kurung for her performance(Again, please check with Utusan Malaysia Online). Whatever you say Ning, I wish you all the best. And same goes with Lim Li Zhen and Loloq.

Next is Tak Tahu. A song in the Pop Rock category. Song and lyrics by Edry KRU. A refreshing song I must say. Having a rap genre. Well, when I say refreshing, it just means refreshing for the category. I like it but, this song is a very typical KRU-type song. It is very KRUish. That's all I want to say really. Haha. I mean there is nothing new about this composition when compared with Pop Ye Ye, Kata and Gaia. I would say, Edry KRU might have to settle with no award at all that night. Sorry. Adam however will have a chance to win the Best Performance Award. Based on his previous on stage performance be it in Akademi Fantasia or outside the academy, I have to say that he can stage a very good performance. My final say, good luck to Edry KRU and Adam. Hey, we have the same name! Haha.

2011 That is Almost Over
