Calling for doctors.

All major newspapers today ran a picture of Pak Lah strolling in a park in Perth. The caption was telling us that he had just finished with his surgery. It is nice for a little while to see a picture of a PM having a good time abroad with his family when other Malaysians can’t seem to find enough money to pay for their everyday costs of living. People here are whining that the costs of living grow faster than their income and this one particular PM is having a sinus operation in Australia. For the love of God, please come back to Malaysia as soon as possible and stop the economy from running into another recession.

And while you are at it, maybe you can teach Malaysian doctors how to do a sinus operation so that you won’t be wasting taxpayers’ money going abroad for another operation. This is not a post on Malaysian politics. This is more like a post on medical facilities in Malaysia compared to Australia.

Yes, I think I am becoming obsessed with this Malay Drama show. I always look forward to watching the show every day. The irony of Angkara Cinta is despite the title of the show, it is not a love story at all. At least not to me. Sure, the are several love stories in the show such as Luqman and Adira, Haqeem and Adira, Haqeem and Jijie, and Luqman and Adira again, but these love stories are just in the background and do not form the major part of the storyline. Many detractors of Tun Dr Mahathir blamed him for causing the fall of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) government in February 2020. They blamed him for quitting his position for no apparent reasons whatsoever. To be honest, none of us (save for a select few) really know what had happened behind the curtains and behind Tun's thick skull. 2011 That is Almost Over

In just one more day, 2011 will draw its final curtain.
